The family business, WERMA Signaltechnik has been around for over 60 years leader in industrial signaling technology. WERMA, the company that set the industry standard with the  modular signal tower. It is an international company with more than 350 employees and 8 locations worldwide, including WERMA Benelux located in Ghent, Belgium. Today WERMA delivers optical and acoustic signaling and innovative systems for process optimization for general industrial and logistics applications.

In 2019, WERMA launched the new standard solution in the field of signaling technology: EvoSIGNAL, a modular, simple and clearly structured signage. These latest beacons are acoustic and/or optical signal transmitters available in 3 sizes – mini/midi/maxi. Thanks to the extensive choice of colours, lighting effects, tones and mounting brackets, this device covers all areas of application.

And WERMA takes signal technology one step further: By networking multiple signaling devices, solutions are created that help the customer to quickly and easily analyze and optimize production and logistics processes.

It SmartMONITOR WERMA system helps processes more lean, more efficient and faster to be. SmartMONITOR is an intelligent, radio-controlled system that records machine performance data and sends it via radio to a database where it is analyzed. The system is easy to integrate on the WERMA signal tower. By including these signal towers in an intelligent network, a simple and retrofit alternative to conventional, complex ones is created MDC systems.

In 2022, Werma launched Signaltechnik eSIGN,  a signal tower that sets new standards in visibility, individuality and efficiency thanks to electronic modularity. 

Electronic modularity allows the eSIGN to realize a variety of signaling modes with numerous colors, brightness levels and lighting effects. From the classic signal light to fully customized settings, everything is possible. Variable level indications or full-surface signaling can be implemented without any problems with eSIGN.
