FHI partner of Digital Safety Together – will you join us?

We are increasingly working digitally and that has many advantages. But there are also risks: cybercriminals are finding new ways to hack software and systems every day. FHI believes it is important that members and the sector can work digitally safely. This prevents your company from coming to a standstill for a while due to a hack, but also prevents sensitive information from being stolen. The technology sectors are particularly interesting for cybercriminals. We must all ensure that we defend ourselves against this. By connecting to the Samen Digitaal Veilig (SDV) platform, our members can work on cybersecurity in an even more targeted way and more support is possible, which is why we recently entered into a partnership. Samen Digitaal Veilig is an initiative of sector and professional organisations in collaboration with MKB-Nederland with the support of the Ministries of Justice and Security and Economic Affairs.

Partnership FHI – SDV

Samen Digitaal Veilig (SDV) consists of collaborating industry organizations (partners) that help companies (members) with information and tools for digital security. Whether you want to start with cybersecurity or need to comply with the Cybersecurity Act (NIS2), you will receive customized support. Would you like to read more about these different options, then check out our landing pageIn the near future, we will communicate more often about the possibilities of SDV, about important developments in the field of cyber security and events that we will organize together.

Cybersecurity Act

The Cybersecurity Act (NIS2) is expected to enter into force in the Netherlands on 1 July 2025. Other countries in Europe are already starting in October this year. More than 10,000 companies (essential and important NIS2 companies, > 50 employees) in the Netherlands will be required to take measures in the field of cybersecurity. These companies will also have a duty of care for the supply chain and will also have to impose measures on their suppliers. Many companies in our sectors will therefore be directly or indirectly affected by this law. SDV offers support to these companies via the NIS2 Quality Mark. There are already a number of standards known, such as ISO270001, but these are often very heavy and therefore you do not fully comply with the new law. Through the NIS2 Quality Mark you can achieve a manageable and appropriate cybersecurity level. With this you can show your customers that you meet important cybersecurity requirements. You can also comply with legislation through the NIS2 Quality Mark.

Participate in Digital Safety Together
