As Branch Manager Industrial Automation, you work at the heart of a dynamic network of technology companies and entrepreneurs. You engage in daily dialogue with members, identify market trends, and translate these into concrete collaborations, activities, and initiatives. In doing so, you strengthen the sector, increase member engagement, and make a visible contribution to the direction of FHI.

What are you going to do?

If Branch Manager Industrial Automation You have a strategic, entrepreneurial, and connecting role. You work on the future of the industry, know what is going on with members and in the market, translate that into valuable activities for members, and continue building a strong and relevant network.

You are responsible for:

  • developing and implementing industry activities
  • renewing and expanding activities for members
  • achieving the (financial) objectives of the industry
  • actively maintaining intensive contact with members and stakeholders
  • member recruitment and member retention
  • establishing cross-sector collaborations and initiatives
  • coaching and managing (senior) project managers
  • identifying opportunities and needs in the market and translating these into new concrete plans
  • strengthening the position and visibility of the industry.

What are you bringing?

You are someone who maintains an overview, provides direction, and knows how to get people on board. You are entrepreneurial, strategically strong, and have a good sense of what is going on with members, in the market, and within relevant networks. You spot opportunities, easily make (new) contacts, and know how to convert them into concrete actions and results.

In addition, bring:

  • higher professional or academic working and thinking level
  • at least 6 to 8 years of experience in project, program, or industry management or service delivery
  • experience with strategic collaboration and stakeholder management
  • affinity with associations, networks, and advocacy
  • an independent, systematic, and result-oriented way of working
  • strong communication and organizational skills.

  • A gross monthly salary starting from €4,500 based on 40 hours, commensurate with your experience and seniority.
  • Good secondary employment conditions, including 20 vacation days + 5 extra vacation days (based on a 40-hour work week); 4 collective days off; 8% holiday allowance; collective pension scheme; laptop and smartphone; bicycle plan; opportunities for training and personal development; possibility to purchase extra vacation days; possibility to work partly from home (max. 2 days per week for a 40-hour work week) + home office allowance; commuting allowance from 1 km (max. 45 km one-way)/full reimbursement of public transport; a tax-free allowance of €150 per year; collective bonus policy.
