Based on what you hear in the market, you determine together with the board which initiatives, services, activities, and advocacy dossiers deserve priority.

You are responsible for:

• the sector plan and associated budget; and the realization of the (financial) objectives of the sector
• identifying opportunities and needs in the market and translating these into new concrete plans
• developing and implementing industry activities
• renewing and expanding activities for members
• member recruitment and member retention
• establishing cross-sector collaborations and initiatives
• coaching and managing (senior) project managers
• setting priorities
• formulating commercial objectives
• reporting progress and results to the Board and Management
• questioning activities that contribute little.
• strengthening the position and visibility of the industry.

What are you bringing?

You are someone who maintains an overview, provides direction, and knows how to get people on board. You are entrepreneurial, strategically strong, and have a good sense of what is going on with members, in the market, and within relevant networks. You spot opportunities, easily make (new) contacts, and know how to convert them into concrete actions and results.

In addition, bring:

• higher professional or academic working and thinking level
• demonstrable experience with business development, member recruitment, or commercial network development;
• experience in building and maintaining relationships at executive and business level;
• demonstrable results in acquisition, partnerships, or revenue development;
• preferably a relevant network within industrial automation, industry, or technology.
• You are familiar with the industrial and technological market or are demonstrably capable of quickly building a relevant network and a substantive position within it.
