Job description
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work on the development of software for embedded systems that bring our products to life. You will have the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with hardware engineers, product developers and project managers. You will work on challenging projects, from concept to implementation, where you are responsible for the full lifecycle of the software.
Your tasks include:
- Developing, testing and implementing embedded software for various microcontrollers and platforms.
- Optimizing and debugging existing software to improve performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to seamlessly integrate software and hardware.
- Writing clear technical documentation for code and development processes.
- Contribute to the design of new systems and products based on customer requirements and specifications.
- Analyzing technical requirements and providing innovative software solutions.
Job requirements
We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented Embedded Software Engineer with a strong technical background.
You have experience in developing embedded software and are able to work independently on complex projects.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A completed HBO or WO education in a relevant field,
such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Computer Science or Embedded Systems. - Work experience in embedded software development.
- knowledge of programming languages such as C, C#
- Experience with embedded operating systems such as FreeRTOS, Linux, or other real-time operating systems.
Knowledge of microcontrollers (e.g. ARM, STM32) and hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, etc.). - Experience with tools such as Git, VS Code etc.
- Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- A structured and precise working attitude with an eye for detail and quality.
