Your position
As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will perform the design, layout, testing, and validation of power electronic systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the full chain of activities such as research, design, development, and testing of power electronics. You will contribute to our designs with your expertise in integrating components such as power converters, inverters, rectifiers, inductors and high-power semiconductors.

Your responsibilities are
- End-to-end management of electronic projects that convert and control electric power;
- Designing power electronic circuits and systems, focusing on sustainability and efficiency;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate these power electronics topologies into solutions;
- Conduct simulations and prototypes to test system efficiency and reliability;
- Simulating and modeling power electronics systems to ensure stability and functionality;
- Developing control algorithms for power electronic systems using various techniques and tools;
- Conducting experimental tests and evaluations on power electronic prototypes to verify designs and ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards;
- Collaborating with other engineering teams to integrate power electronics into broader system designs;
- Providing technical support for power electronics products post-launch, troubleshooting issues, and devising solutions to enhance performance.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively tackle engineering challenges;
- Excellent mathematical and computational skills to develop accurate models and simulations;
- Proficiency in using design and analysis software specific to power electronics applications;
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams, with excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly;
- Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to design and troubleshooting.
Our expectations
- A Master or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics or a related specialization is highly advantageous;
- Hands-on experience with Power Electronics tools and software, such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, and other tools relevant to the specific industry or job role;
- A solid foundation in analog design, as well as a thorough understanding of electronic components such as microcontrollers, semiconductors, and magnetics.
