Your role

As a Technical Commercial Advisor, you are the connecting factor between customer, technology and sales. You advise existing customers and new customers about applications in the field of bearing technology. You understand the technical challenges of the customer and know how to translate these into effective solutions. With your expertise, you build long-term customer relationships and contribute to sustainable growth.

What are you going to do?

• Informing and providing technical advice to customers in the field of bearing technology;
• Developing customized solutions for technical issues of our customers and potential customers;
• Visiting customers;
• Drawing up, presenting and following up on quotations;
• Processing sales orders;
• Maintaining and expanding customer relationships;
• Identifying market developments and customer needs;
• Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering and purchasing;
• Thinking about improving our products and new innovations.

Your profile:

• HBO work and thinking level;
• A background in mechanical engineering;
• Strong communication skills and commercial insight;
• Flexible and thinks beyond just solutions;
• At least 5 years of demonstrable and relevant work experience in a similar position.
• Experience with bearings and drive technology is an advantage, but not necessary;
• A customer-oriented attitude;
• Strong in maintaining customer relationships;
• Innovative and proactive;
• A good knowledge of Dutch and English;
• You switch effortlessly between technology and commerce;
• Affinity with bearings or mechanical drive technology is an advantage;
• In possession of driving license B.

IB Kracht is an engineering firm in the field of plain bearing and electrical heating technology, located in Voorburg. Within our Plain Bearing Technology department, we not only sell plain bearings, but also design and manufacture them ourselves. We ensure that bearings last for years under the most extreme conditions. We work with various materials such as bronze, manganese steel and zirconium oxide. In addition, we produce frictionless air bearings ourselves. Our customers and suppliers operate both domestically and abroad. Active in the mechanical engineering and offshore sectors.
