The function
As an IT Support Engineer at VDL TBP Electronics in Dirksland, you are the first point of contact for colleagues who need support with their workstation, applications, or systems. You assist them with a wide range of IT questions, resolve incidents, and ensure that our IT environment remains reliable, secure, and up to date. You work in a high-tech production environment where technology is central and where you deal with modern systems, IT operations, and system administration on a daily basis.
You analyze malfunctions, provide remote and on-site support, and register reports in our Service Management environment. Additionally, you perform installations and updates, manage accounts, monitor systems, and contribute to backups and recovery actions. You actively contribute ideas for improvements and support the implementation of new systems. Basic network administration and IT security are also part of your daily duties. Your strength

- MBO+ working and thinking level (we also warmly invite starters to apply)
- A good command of the Dutch and English languages
- Knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization environments, and scripting (PowerShell)
- Accuracy and ownership in your work
- Interested in working in a production environment (experience is a plus, but not a must)
