TECHNICAL APPLICATION ENGINEER

As a Technical Application Engineer at VDL TBP Electronics, you ensure that our business applications – such as ERP and MES – function optimally within our high-tech production environment. You analyze user queries, resolve technical and functional issues, and contribute to improvements that make our processes more efficient and reliable.

You combine your technical knowledge with insight into our production processes. You work on changes and projects, support implementations, and translate user needs into concrete improvements in our applications. Additionally, you monitor market developments and new technologies to ensure our systems remain future-proof. The key components of your role:

• Application management of ERP/MES systems
• Analysis of user queries and resolution of technical issues
• Contribute to projects and changes
• Implementing improvements in functionality and processes
• Translating developments into system adjustments 

Do you have a passion for IT, data, and business processes, and are you eager to learn, analytical, and a strong communicator? We are looking for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between technology and users and gets energy from improving systems. In addition, you bring the following:

• HBO working and thinking level (HBO graduates are welcome)
• Good command of Dutch and English
• Basic knowledge of ERP or MES and an interest in production processes
• Technical skills such as SQL, scripting, or PowerShell
• Affinity with production IT and process optimization
