Vacancy (Junior) PLC Programmer | Engineering & Support Employee

As a programmer in this innovative environment, you contribute to the quality of JUMO every day. You possess extensive knowledge of our products, enabling you to easily resolve any challenges the customer may face. To do this, you utilize your knowledge of Process and Measurement & Control Technology. You are responsible for providing proper technical service to customers and colleagues. You perform this from our pleasant office in Weesp, where employees gather daily. We are looking for a technical advisor/PLC programmer who is motivated to grow with this ambitious organization!

Your responsibilities
You and your colleagues in the Engineering & Support department ensure that all questions from internal and external customers regarding JUMO equipment and related matters are resolved.

Some of your tasks are:

Serving as the point of contact for technical challenges for customers and employees;
Implementation and configuration of systems;
Using knowledge of measurement and control technology to optimize processes;
Provide support to the account managers;
Configuring and programming our hardware (PID controllers, PLCs, etc.).

Your skills

You will be responsible for various products and are expected to work proactively on them. We are looking for a motivated, accurate, reliable, and trustworthy colleague. Additionally, you are eager to master the following areas:

A customer-oriented attitude;
Process engineering;
Measurement and control technology (PID);
Affinity with and knowledge of PLC systems;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Strong analytical skills and a clear, persuasive communication style;
Minimum MBO+ working and thinking level.
We have a strong team of reliable colleagues who are eager to teach you the tricks of the trade. Furthermore, you can communicate in English. If you can also do this in German, that is a plus.
