ACCOUNT MANAGER

As an Account Manager at VDL TBP Electronics, you are the link between our customers and the internal organization. You work within one of our largest market segments and translate customer requests into successful projects. In doing so, you guide assignments throughout the entire process, from quotation to delivery. You work closely with colleagues from Project Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Production to optimally meet customer expectations. In this versatile role, you are responsible for maintaining and further developing customer relationships. Your daily activities include:

• Drafting, developing, and following up on quotations;
• Conducting commercial conversations and client meetings;
• Creating an environment in which sales activities can take place efficiently;
• Identifying commercial opportunities and responding to customer needs;
• Optimizing and structuring sales processes.

You are part of an enthusiastic and professional sales team of more than ten colleagues. Together, you ensure an optimal customer experience and the successful execution of complex technical projects.

We are looking for a commercially strong Account Manager who enjoys collaborating and effortlessly switches between clients, colleagues, and various levels within the organization. You feel at home in a technical environment and preferably have an affinity with electronics and/or mechanics. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:

• A completed MBO or HBO education in a technical or commercial field;
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities;
• A stress-resistant, structured, and pragmatic working method;
• A steadfast, customer-oriented, and results-driven attitude.
