Electronics Repairman

Job description
Who are we?
UNIS Group has been an international partner for over 40 years in ensuring continuity within industrial production processes. We specialize in repairing and overhauling electronic modules, preventing failures, and extending the lifespan of industrial systems.
From our headquarters in Grou and specialized branches in Europe and South America, we support customers worldwide. With our years of expertise, we have grown into a leading service provider in industrial electronics.
Are you interested in practically everything related to electronics? Do you not shy away from a (repair) challenge and would you prefer to learn something new every day? Then we are looking for you!
What are you going to do?
As an Electronics Repair Technician, you work with your colleagues to analyze, measure, repair, and test industrial electronics. Together with about 10 to 15 colleagues, you form a team of enthusiastic technicians, where you learn from each other and from every new assignment you receive. You do not focus on a specific brand or type, but immerse yourself in industrial electronics from all over the world. Thanks to the large stock of spare parts and components, you can quickly resolve defects and malfunctions.
What do we offer?
- A varied (full-time) job in a close-knit team
- You will be working for an organization where collegiality, an informal working atmosphere, and room for your own input are central.
- We offer flexible working hours
- A competitive salary and a comprehensive pension scheme without employee contributions
- 25 vacation days for full-time employment with a time-for-time arrangement, which you can use in consultation with your supervisor on, for example, a summer day.
- You receive a travel allowance of the maximum tax-deductible amount per kilometer.
- The option to have lunch in the company restaurant for a low personal contribution that is required for tax purposes. Featuring, among other things, fresh smoothies, a daily changing hot meal prepared by our own chef, a salad bar, bread with various toppings, and a delicious dessert buffet.
- An active staff association with regular outings.
Requirements
What do we ask of you?
You find it challenging to investigate malfunctions and defects using specialized (measuring) equipment. Thanks to your proactive work attitude, curiosity, and perseverance, you are uniquely capable of detecting and resolving electronic defects. You know what is required to repair electronics at the component level and enjoy making use of our extensive testing capabilities. In addition, we require the following:
- A varied job of 32 to 38 hours per week;
- You possess a demonstrable MBO working and thinking level in the field of electronics.
- You have relevant knowledge of electronic components
- You have experience repairing electronics at the component level.
- You have an affinity for industrial electronics
- You can detect malfunctions and defects with measuring and testing instruments.
- You are able to correctly interpret measurement and test data.
- You can make yourself understood in English or are willing to learn.
- Experience with (SMD) soldering is a plus.
