Service Engineer

Are you a technician who thrives on variety, freedom, and solving technical challenges? Do you enjoy being on the road and having direct contact with customers? Then you will probably feel right at home in our Service & Installation team. 

As a Service Engineer, you are the one who ensures that laboratory equipment continues to function optimally. You carry out installations, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform preventive maintenance at customers throughout the Netherlands. Thanks to your technical knowledge and customer-oriented approach, our customers can continue their work uninterrupted. 

No two days are the same. One day you install new equipment at a university, the next day you resolve a malfunction at a hospital or research institute. You are the face of Hettich Benelux and make a difference every day with your craftsmanship. 

What are you going to do?

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing laboratory equipment.
• Analyzing and resolving malfunctions at customer locations. 
• Informing customers about work performed.
• Accurately process calibration data and/or protocols.
• Prepare your work independently.
• Management of your own service stock/company van. 

What are you bringing?

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. 
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position. 
• Technical insight and a practical approach. 
• Customer and service-oriented attitude. 
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• A valid category B driving license. 
• Minimum availability of 32 hours per week.
