Business Development Manager
The function
As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for realizing sustainable commercial growth. You focus on finding clients that align with VDL TBP Electronics' expertise and ambitions and building long-term partnerships. In this role, you act as the link between the market and our organization. You understand customer challenges, identify commercial opportunities, and know how to translate these into concrete projects together with colleagues within VDL TBP Electronics. You closely monitor market developments, maintain contact with existing and potential customers, and identify new application areas for our knowledge and production capabilities. In doing so, you work closely with colleagues from sales, engineering, project management, and operations. Your duties include, among others:
- Identifying new market and business opportunities within relevant market segments;
- Building sustainable relationships with existing and potential customers;
- Initiating and managing new commercial projects;
- Identifying market developments, customer needs, and competitive activities;
- Developing and implementing commercial growth plans;
- Establishing strategic collaborations and partnerships;
- Translating technical possibilities into customer-oriented solutions.
