Customer Service Manager
The function
As Customer Service Manager, you are responsible for the daily management of the Customer Service team in Dirksland, consisting of four employees. In this role, you combine hands-on operational work with leadership. You will spend the majority of your time actively involved in daily activities related to customer inquiries, order processing, and coordination with internal departments. Additionally, you focus on coaching employees, improving processes, and further professionalizing the department. The department is in a development phase where more structure and uniform working methods are being introduced. New procedures are being implemented, and there are opportunities to further optimize processes. You play a key role in this by creating an overview, setting priorities, and involving employees in changes. Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Coordinating and prioritizing daily tasks;
- Maintaining contact with customers, account managers, and internal departments;
- Brainstorming with Account Managers about customer developments and commercial opportunities;
- Monitoring the quality and completeness of customer and order information;
- Ensuring optimal staffing and continuity within the team;
- Coaching and guiding employees in their development;
- Identifying and implementing process improvements;
- Identifying development needs and contributing to the further growth of employees.
Your strength
You are a coaching and people-oriented leader who knows how to motivate employees and bring structure to a dynamic environment. You are close to the team, enjoy working alongside the team in operations, and at the same time know how to maintain an overview and implement improvements. With your pragmatic approach, you create support for change and, together with the team, ensure optimal service to the customer. In addition, you possess:
- HBO work and thinking level;
- Experience in Customer Service, Sales Support, or Order Management, preferably in a technical or production environment;
- Experience coaching or managing employees;
- Knowledge of ERP systems and a proactive, result-oriented attitude;
- Good command of Dutch and English.
