From biomarker development to international clinical implementation; the challenges of growth

SkylineDx is a diagnostic biotech company that has grown from a spin-off from Erasmus MC to a company with 2 commercial products on the market and 13 assays in development in 11 years. By focusing on the development of clinical tests that address an unmet medical need, we aim to transform healthcare and contribute to improved treatment decisions for patients and their caregivers. The growth we have experienced brings with it the necessary challenges in the field of our laboratories, of which we will discuss a number of real-life examples during this presentation - such as in the field of automation of RNA extraction and library preparation. SkylineDx is headquartered in Rotterdam with an ISO 13485:2016 certified laboratory and a CAP/CLIA certified laboratory in San Diego, California.
