How digital models and AI help engineers develop complex machines faster and better

Modern production machines must process an increasing number of product variants, deliver higher performance, and meet strict time requirements. At the same time, the complexity and interdependencies between processes, resources, and product flows are increasing significantly.
Drawing on our expertise at TNO, an independent Dutch research organization, we demonstrate how Model-Based Engineering (MBE) helps manage this complexity and analyze and optimize design choices early in the development process.

In this presentation, you will discover how MBE and generative AI reinforce each other. Using concrete examples with LSAT, we show how complex machines can be designed faster and better with the combination of MBE and AI.
We are developing an AI assistant that can generate, analyze, and improve LSAT models. This makes MBE more accessible, reduces the learning curve, and allows engineers to focus on making design decisions for the next generation of production machines.
