TETRA PAK® BAG TIPPING UNIT

Tetra Pak® Bag Tipping unit SA VS800 is designed to efficiently discharge 25kg bags of powder. The sanitary design of the equipment makes it suitable for all food powder discharge applications including dairy and nutritional products. Tetra Pak® Bag Tipping unit SA VS800 automatically cuts the bag and brings it to the discharging position. It effectively eradicates the heavy lifting normally involved in bag handling.
The automatic bag cutting system comprises the following steps:
• Acceleration belt for properly engaging the bag in the cutting section
• Tilting module for bringing the bag onto the discharging location
• Slitter to cut open the bag layers
• Discharging of the powder
• Sieving powder before entering the process
• For high hygiene applications, the outer paper bag will be removed intact and ergonomically prior to entering
the station, so that only the plastic inner bag enters the hygiene area

The powder discharging design is suitable for any downstream process including vacuum or pressure pneumatic
conveying. It is compliant with hygiene standards and dust explosion regulations.

ELSCOLAB – ISM Core

ISM Core is the heart of Mettler Toledo's “ISM universe” (Intelligent Sensor Management). The entire platform revolves around “Measure – Integrate – Manage”, in other words the optimal use of intelligent inline sensors for pH, ORP and dissolved oxygen in the process industry, from pharmaceuticals to petrochemicals.

With the ISM Core diagnostic and calibration software, time-consuming on-site calibration is a thing of the past! No more interruption of process monitoring and control, resulting in better diagnosis and calibration with higher accuracy.

The software indicates, among other things, how much time remains until the next maintenance (predictive maintenance) and the expected lifespan. A database with a complete history of all your sensors is kept up to date and can be exported as an .xlsx file. Useful for quality audits.

ISM Core not only ensures better results and a longer lifespan of the sensors, the clear user interface shows the status of your sensor at a glance.

Celsius Volta

The Volta (patent pending) is the latest generation of Celsius screw heat exchangers. Fully electrically heated screws and jacket ensure direct and controllable heat input. This makes the Volta one of the most energy-efficient screw heat exchangers on the market. Energy savings of up to 25% compared to conventionally heated screw heat exchangers are achievable.

The Volta heats and/or dries solid and pasty materials in a continuous process. The temperatures and design of this machine are fully customizable. The propellers and the hull have different temperature zones that can be adjusted separately. Temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius are possible.

The Volta is the fully electric version of the Celsius screw heat exchanger and has the following elements and features:

  • The intermeshing screws and the jacket are equipped with (ceramic) heating elements;
  • Heat transfer takes place without a thermal medium (oil, water or steam);
  • The temperature zones within the Volta can be adjusted separately. This makes it possible to manage and regulate the temperature of the product to be heated or dried very accurately;
  • The Volta is equipped with an IE5 drive as standard, which ensures approximately 20 percent less energy loss compared to an IE-4 drive (and 40 percent compared to IE-3)

Endress+Hauser BV – Teqwave MW: Innovative inline solids measurement

The Teqwave MW is an advanced instrument that uses microwave transmission to measure the total solids content directly inline. This measurement offers major advantages:

1. State-of-the-art technology: microwave transmission measurement in special polished housing for correct measurement and long maintenance intervals.
2. User interface via WLAN: The Teqwave MW is equipped with a modern user interface via WLAN, making it easy to monitor measurements and adjust settings.
3. Heartbeat Technology: Thanks to Heartbeat Technology, the condition and integrity of the analyzer is continuously monitored 24/7. This increases reliability and ensures timely maintenance interventions.
4. Applicable in various industries: The Teqwave MW can be used in various sectors, but has a specific focus on sludge processing in water and wastewater treatment.

Tetra Pak – Yogurt Milk with OneStep Technology

One single heat treatment and no intermediate storage – with the Line for yogurt milk with OneStep technology, the non-value adding parts of the process are removed and the steps from raw milk to formulated yogurt milk happen in one go.
OneStep technology combines separation, standardization, blending, heat treatment, and more in a single step. There's no faster or more efficient way to produce yogurt milk. You can start from raw milk or milk powder, or a combination of both. OneStep technology makes yogurt milk production more energy-efficient, reducing emissions and saving resources.

EAO Benelux BV – Rugged RCC Controller for heavy and special vehicles 

EAO expands the Series 09 In-Cabin with the Rotary Cursor Controller (RCC) and Rotary Pushbutton (RPB). These are designed for intuitive turning, pressing and tilting in vehicle interiors.
The Series 09 Rotary Cursor Controller and Rotary Pushbutton Modules are ideal for use in specialty vehicles, trucks and buses. They offer the functions of a rotary knob, a push button and even a digital joystick (in the case of the Rotary Cursor Controller). This makes them perfect for control and navigation in vehicle displays or user menus. The two additional push buttons complement the functionalities and can be customized with individual HALO ring and symbol lighting, depending on the variant.

Tetra Pak® Air Jet Cleaning system for Powder

Tetra Pak® Air Jet Cleaning system for Powder is a new cleaning technology for paddle mixers which consists of a combination of air jets and vacuum flow to remove powder particles and evacuate them through the mixer outlet. It can be used to clean the Tetra Pak® Powder Mixer as well as other mixer brands in a large range of food powder applications (Infant and children's nutrition, health food, food supplements for the elderly, coffee, dairy, sport nutrition, dietary supplements , etc).

The Air Jet technology has been patented as well as the unique nozzle heads. Each nozzle head is fitted with four specific jets. Each of the jets is designed and sized to clean a specific area of the inner surface of the mixer with the right velocity and flow rate. The nozzles are assembled on a “pop-up” system which allows the nozzles to be retracted when they are not in use.

Tetra Pak Dry Cooker Stretcher DDA

Using patented heated auger technology, Tetra Pak has invented a dry cooker for the processing of mozzarella cheese. By recirculating hot cooking water in an enclosed loop, we have eliminated the need for filtration and treatment of the cook water while greatly lowering the thermodynamic heat loss of traditional wet cookers. This also provides the highest hygiene since there is no cook water-to-cheese contact. This allows customer to experiment with ingredient addition without having the ingredients wash out in the cook water.

In addition, the machine is fully CIP'able using an industry-first popout spray design to thoroughly clean the machine with the least amount of chemicals and flow.
When processing 6000kg/hr of low moisture part skim mozzarella for 20 hours per day 350 days per year, early indications are that this machine provides an additional 181,000 kg of cheese while reducing water usage by 3.2m liters while decreasing energy utilization by ~10% over traditional methods.

The higher air temperatures are achieved by making use of electrical air heaters.
The lower air temperatures are achieved by making us of hot water from a heating pump system.

Jongia Mixing Technology – Liquidz DNA of Mixing

Data from specific mixing sensors are collected and analyzed by Jongia's experts in the field of Data Science and Process Technology. The combination of data analysis and its translation into process technological parameters forms the core competency of the LiquidZ department, also known as the “DNA of Mixing”. The translation of the data into process optimization allows the LiquidZ team to report the actual data and performance of an agitator. When the actual values are compared with the originally initiated parameters of the process, some or many differences are revealed, providing insight into the process.

This means that with 'DNA of Mixing' you use mixing sensors to gain insight into your process, optimize it and save money.

Smans – Minic-III

The Minic-III is a module that can optionally be placed on a fully automatic wire processing machine. It is a universal solution for compacting one or more copper (or aluminum) wires without adding material. This gives you the best possible connection.

Festo – Most compact Proportional Pressure Regulator Terminal

The valve terminal-based VTEP is controlled via Ethercat to proportionally control pressures in devices or machines using Piezo valves, varying from -1 to 6 bar with an accuracy of a single mbar.
Piezo valves consume hardly any energy, so there is no system heating. These Piezos can be accurately controlled from vacuum to 6 bar within a few mbar. They do not make the noise that is characteristic of traditional valves, they rattle continuously.
The very compact design of (119*110*82 mm) makes it possible to control 10 ports independently. The customer can choose from 2, 3 or 5 valve positions, each valve position contains 2 independent pressure control valves.

CONTA CLIP – KDS-SR90

The KDS-SR90 is yet another innovative and user-friendly addition to CONTA-CLIP's cable management range. The KDS-SR90 is suitable in places where cables, air or hydraulic hoses must be routed outwards at right angles to switch cabinets, housings or machines. The basis is the famous KDSClick concept.
The KDS-SR90 frame is first mounted on the machine/housing. By removing the cover the cables can then be easily fed through. Instead of working with different types of frames per size, the composition is made by applying inlays. The sealing elements with the correct cross-section are then placed around the cables and pressed into the frame. After placing the sealing elements, the lid is replaced without tools. This modular concept offers the consumer maximum flexibility and can be adapted to the new situation at a later time (revision). It is important that it is not necessary to disassemble the frame. An additional advantage of the modular system is that it simplifies inventory management because fewer frames are needed.
A high protection class, IP66, is achieved because the gasket and the frame are one, in contrast to other similar solutions that often use a separate gasket to achieve an IP66 protection class.

CONTA CLIP – KES-RM (FDA)

The KES-R-Metric is CONTA-CLIP's innovative cable management solution to easily route cables, air and hydraulic hoses without a connector. Compared to the classic cable gland, the KES-RM offers a high cable density in combination with good strain relief. The KES-RM is available in the familiar metric industry standards M20, M25, M32, M40, M50 and M63. The high protection class, IP66, is achieved by securing the KES-RM with a nut. If protection class IP54 is sufficient, the KES-RM can be pressed into the wall of a machine, switch cabinet or housing. In addition to the metric variants, there is a wide choice of different configurations for each metric variant. Each lead-through has a centering point, making it easy to pierce with an awl.
These variants are also available in FDA material which is suitable for use in the vicinity of food production lines.
