Expertise group Electronics Manufacturing Service

The EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) expert group consists of a group of companies that produce electronics. FHI organizes annual meetings for this group on current themes. The goal of these meetings is to discuss socio-economic issues, to put problems on the table and to arrive at new insights and solutions together.

Members of this group also speak to each other regularly during fairs and events. Everyone's opinion and knowledge is important and that is why we would like to invite you to participate in our expert group!

Featured: The Component Database

In 2022, the members of the EMS expertise group conceived and developed the component database: XS Parts. Through this online platform, group members can buy or sell small and large quantities of components.

Components are usually purchased in full “reels”, often in hundreds or thousands, while in practice the buyer needs a smaller number. During a brainstorming session, the idea arose to make the remaining components available to each other via a database. This way you deal with your stocks efficiently and you support colleagues who may need that one component. The online transaction takes place directly between buyer and seller, so without an intermediary.
