Within public lighting, relamping is a practical way to make existing luminaires more sustainable without completely replacing them. The existing luminaire housing is retained and technically upgraded with modern LED technology. This extends the lifespan of the existing installation and prevents unnecessary material use.

EA Srl responds to this with specially developed and produced in-house LED modules such as MT467, MT526, and MT551, intended for use in outdoor lighting. These IP67 modules are available in power ratings from approximately 20 to 60 W, various color temperatures (CCT), and diverse beam patterns. This allows the light distribution to be tailored to the application and the existing luminaire.

Thanks to their compact dimensions and modular design, the modules can be integrated into existing luminaires. This allows for a retrofit with relatively few modifications and a limited installation time. The modules are designed for good heat dissipation and a stable light output.

An LED retrofit can therefore reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs, while existing luminaires and materials are reused. For public lighting, relamping thus offers a practical way to modernize existing installations step-by-step, without immediately resorting to complete replacement.

In addition to technical and economic advantages, the origin of components plays an increasingly important role in the choice of lighting solutions. The LED modules from EA Srl are fully developed and produced in-house in San Marino. In doing so, EA consciously opts for its own European production and direct control over development and manufacturing.
