MP2890 Dual-Loop, Digital, 20-Phase Controller with PWM-VID Interface
The MP2890 is a dual-rail, digital, multi-phase controller for PWM-VID core power applications. It supports AVSBus and can work with MPS Intelli-Phase™ products to provide a multi-phase voltage regulator solution with minimal external components.
The controller supports up to 20 phases on Rail 1 and 8 phases on Rail 2. Integrated non-volatile memory (NVM) stores device configurations, while the PMBus/I2C interface enables configuration and monitoring. Its digital nonlinear control provides fast transient response with minimal output capacitance. The MP2890 is available in a QFN-64 (8mm × 8mm) package.
