Panasonic launches the Flat Wide Detection Type, the first PIR motion sensor with a flat lens and the new PaPIRs+ technology. Designed for building automation, professional lighting control, and smart home applications, this sensor combines a sleek, discreet design with exceptional detection performance.

The latest generation of PaPIRs+ technology allows this sensor to reliably detect small movements, including seated persons, over a large area, validated according to the IEC 63180 standard for motion.

Specifications:

  • Detection angle: 136°
  • Detection diameter: ±15 m at a mounting height of 3.0 m
  • Lens diameter: 32.6 mm
  • Power consumption: 1 µA standby – 170 µA active
  • Operating temperature: −20 to +60 °C

Thanks to the wide field of view, fewer sensors are required per installation, which reduces installation costs. Output is available in digital (open-drain) and analog (op-amp), with compatibility for DALI, DALI2, BLE, WiFi, Zigbee, and Z-Wave environments.
