Rewirable connectors are particularly flexible and especially suitable for small series of power cords to make exactly this possible. These connectors give you the freedom to choose the right cable with a country-specific plug.
Applications for a secure connection (V-Lock)
With electrical equipment that is moved or vibrated during operation, there is a risk that the power cord can accidentally be pulled out of the device, resulting in a power failure. For this reason, cord retention systems such as the one on the 4799 are a cost-effective solution to a potentially expensive problem. Cord retention systems are typically required for applications in medical analysis, diagnostic or laboratory equipment, portable instrumentation, professional audio/video applications, or equipment in the food industry.
Halogen-free design
SCHURTER Type 4799 does not use halogens for the bushing or other plastic parts.
Approvals and certifications
The 4799 connector has all the approvals for the European, Chinese and North American markets. It is certified according to the IEC/UL/CCC 60320 standard.
