Smart applications do not always involve the latest technology. Much more than that, it is a matter of listening carefully to what a customer needs. And then, with that knowledge, take a good look at an existing product and ask yourself: what can we improve?

How this works out can be seen in our latest generation of mini switches. They are the first in the world to be equipped with two internal resistors, which reduces the risk of errors and defects and thus increases safety. Add external resistors to a switch yourself? You can save yourself that time. Instead, you benefit from an extremely compact and waterproof all-in-one application, which also ensures a silent connection.

Faster and more versatile to apply, easier to use. Read more about the features of our latest switches and ask about customization for your organization. Another lever on the switch? A specific cable length or a switch including connector? You use our latest generation of mini switches the way you want.

Team Panasonic Industry

More safety within a few millimeters

Some products are so obvious in their application, you would almost forget that there is still a world to be gained there. Yet that is exactly what happened with our mini switches. They are compact and robust. And above all versatile, especially now that two resistors have been added to the housing.

Space-saving and reliable

We previously provided our mini switches with a so-called fork terminal, which makes soldering of wiring unnecessary. Now, with the latest version, adding resistors yourself is a thing of the past. This reduces the number of components, saves space on the printed circuit board and, thanks to mounting in the housing, contributes to a more reliable system.

Innovation for automotive

Developments such as electrification and self-driving cars are raising safety standards in the automotive industry. It is in such a sector that our latest mini switches with their built-in resistors make their mark. After all, in addition to the two familiar signals from a switch – 'on' or 'off' – there are now two additional signals that, in the event of a defect, immediately provide an answer to the question of whether there is a wire break or short circuit. This simplifies the analysis. And the possibilities for extra safety increase.

Completely waterproof

The size of our mini switches is no more than millimeters. This makes them suitable for almost anywhere. And this in almost any environment, thanks to their completely waterproof housing. Hence the turquoise upper part, which indicates that these switches meet the IP67 standard.
