The biennial trade fair Electronics & Applications ended positively. A total of 3308 interested parties found their way to the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht from 26 to 28 September. Although this is less than the number of visitors in 2019, the quality of the visitors was high according to exhibitors.

With almost 140 stands, the entire electronics chain was present on the trade fair floor in Utrecht: from designers to producers. This resulted in many interesting conversations.

As usual, the gadget and the production square could count on a warm interest from the public that had gathered. On all days of the fair, people were queuing in front of the test bench where the HexaGlow live was tested. This shows how popular the interactive coaster was!

Crowds at soldering competition

The stand of the 'Best Solderer of the Benelux' was also crowded. Four times a day, participants could show their skills with the soldering iron in a blood-curdling soldering race of 45 minutes. At the end of the day, the professional jury chose a daily winner who became the lucky owner of a Weller soldering station (and eternal fame).

A fit brain in a fit body

The seminars and presentations were well attended and appreciated. As expected, the room was almost full at the IoT seminar. But the new seminar on embedded software was also appreciated by the audience. The most popular lecture was, not entirely unexpectedly, the keynote presentation by professor Erik Scherder. He called on his audience to prioritize exercise in order to keep the brain 'fit'.

We would like to thank all our visitors for their enthusiastic participation in the fair. See you at E&A 2025 and WoTS 2024!
