The FHI boards involved have decided not to allow Electronics & Applications to take place at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. The trade fair organization is now focusing on organizing a webinar week in which the lectures take place online.

After the previous reporting regarding the postponement of E&A, the chairmen had to decide not to physically allow the trade fair for the electronics industry to take place. There is currently too much uncertainty about the regulations surrounding the corona problem towards the autumn. The 1.5 meter measure in particular plays an important role here: our members, exhibitors and visitors cannot gain a good trade fair experience. These uncertainties also play a role in the expected number of visitors and the required visitor recruitment. In addition, the survey conducted among exhibitors does not provide a decisively positive picture of a trade fair in hybrid form or in physical form in November.

Online conference program
We want to offer exhibitors the opportunity to get in touch with E&A visitors and the content of the seminars already set up, which is why we offer an online conference program. We look at the original exhibition week and possibly extend it with an extra week. The organization will contact all participants in week 35 and early week 36 to provide more information about the format, the participation costs and to gauge interest. Exhibitor registration
We hereby cancel registrations for participation in E&A 2021 free of charge. Register again for a next edition or participation in the online conference program.

In addition to the online E&A, FHI, Industrial Electronics, organizes three autumn events of a small-scale nature; D&E (Design Automation & Embedded systems) on November 10, IT Infra on November 16 and RF Technology on November 30. We want to organize these events physically, supplemented with the option to follow the lectures digitally. For more information please contact Marc Berkouwer.
