Until recently, the use of connectors in control cabinets required significant effort that could not be avoided. Pre-assembled wiring harnesses and connector components had to be inserted from the inside of the electrical cabinet into a partition-mounted housing secured to the interior wall of the cabinet. That could be quite difficult work.
But that's over: the new Han® B and Han-Eco® B series connectors offer valuable time savings for equipment using the industrial Han® B standard. For installation, both ends of the wiring harnesses can be rear-mounted from the inside of the control box into a housing mounted on the partition wall.

Automated wiring for the control box
The rear wall mounting option greatly simplifies cabinet assembly, saving time and money. The control cabinet units and wiring harnesses can be pre-assembled separately. This allows the work to be distributed in a more optimal way; if necessary, processes can even be automated or outsourced to enable even greater efficiency and therefore increase productivity.
Combinations with Han-Modular®
In addition to the monoblocks for Han®B, the Han-Modular®series in the new Han-Eco® can also be used in a pluggable manner. The hinged frame makes it possible to integrate modules into the plastic hood or housing. As a result, this significantly expands the application possibilities for plastic housings in manufacturing.

Metal and plastic versions are interchangeable
Further advantages result from the plug-in compatibility of the Han-Eco® B with standard metal Han® B housings. This means that combining plastic and metal covers and housings during a system conversion does not waste time. Parallel use is also possible, as both variants can be homogeneously integrated into your production equipment. This makes it easier to respond to customer needs with a flexible solution. You can also continue to use the existing test facilities as they fit both material versions; no changes or additional efforts are necessary.
