This knowledge is present in governments, insurers and entrepreneurs. They, each from their own role, increasingly set requirements for installations, buildings and processes. The presentation by Rayon Brouwer on the current legislation and regulations regarding bacterial growth illustrates that the government is also looking at more than just power and connectivity.

Builders and installers see that the requirements are being further increased. Everything points to 24/7 availability becoming the norm, if that is not already the case. Ensuring installations and processes that continue 24/7/365 is a challenge that the sector has experience with, and emergency power plays a major role in this. For this reason, four speakers have been asked, each of whom will shed light on a different aspect of emergency power. John Verhoeven and Daan Preijde will discuss the first steps, namely purchasing and managing the generators. René van Hartingsveldt will explain what is currently possible in the field of smart predictive maintenance. Finally, Ronald Lagerberg will explain why we will no longer have to worry about emergency power in the near future.

Emergency power is not the only thing that demands attention. Increasingly, clients, governments and even insurers are required to ensure that an entire chain meets higher quality and continuity requirements. This inevitably means that documentation must be done more often and better. Taco Dekker will explain what the right balance is here. The consequence of the higher requirements is also that more knowledge is required of matters that used to be outside the scope and responsibility. André Hiddink's presentation is a good example of this. He explains what the link is between edge and cloud and why without the former, there can be no continuity of cloud services.

Further elaboration
The concept of continuity is in the spotlight and is simultaneously being further defined. This is underlined at IT Infra by speakers who illustrate with appealing cases that this subject is in full swing. In addition to the speakers, there are of course also exhibitors with solutions for the continuity issue.
