GC/MS in lab and measuring vehicle with smart injection system for air sampling
Measuring technicians from the Environmental Measurement Service Air Research of the Province of Limburg have optimized a self-developed method for the GC/MS analysis of air down to the last detail. This allows them to reliably analyze sampled air down to ppb level and lower, both online and offline. This can be done both in the laboratory and in the MOL, the ambient air measuring vehicle. Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions supplied the GC/MS system equipped with the Automatic Air Monitoring Analyzer air sampling system.
The A2MA air sampling system consists of an 8-port multiposition valve and a 2-way 6-port rotor valve from VICI, three 2/3 valves, a flow controller and a pump. In this configuration you always use the same thermal desorption tube, which is also in a vertical position. On the left some Tedlar bags with which air samples can be taken offline.
