The HARTING Technology Group is ranked for the first time as the top firm among German medium-sized companies. The most recent ranking of the information network “Die Deutsche Wirtschaft” (DDW) placed HARTING as number 1 among the 10,000 most important medium-sized companies in the country.

The DDW research team regularly evaluates medium-sized companies, the majority of which are owned by German family businesses with a turnover of up to one billion euros. The ranking is based on around twenty indicators and is determined through a continuously updated process that takes into account:

  • Sale
  • Personnel numbers
  • Research and development costs
  • ISO certifications
  • The availability of dual courses
  • The number of research collaborations and university collaborations

The DDW ranking underlines the 'significant growth trajectory' from the world player. DDW stated that HARTING's products and solutions have positioned it as one of the winners of the digitalization trend and that the company was in high demand as a partner for electromobility. Philip Harting expressed his satisfaction with the company's number 1 position among German medium-sized companies:

This is a great recognition for us, which,
however, cannot be possible without the great
commitment of our employees. We owe this
success to their hard work, their reliability and
their team spirit.
