The Clinostat forms functional organoid/spheroid cell cultures under zero gravity conditions. With this technique, friction forces are reduced, but active diffusion is present. This allows large and long-lived functional organoids to grow. This organoid or spheroid can be used for in-vivo research. This is, for example, drug toxicity research or cancer cell analysis.
