IT-M3100 Ultra Compact Wide range DC power supplies from Itech

The IT-M3100 ultra compact DC power supplies from Itech come in a very compact housing of ½ 19” rack width and 1U height. The various IT-M3100 models are available in voltage ranges from 0 to 20V, 30V, 80V, 150V, 300V and 600V at powers of 400W and 850W. If higher powers are required, up to 4 units can be connected in parallel in a Master-Slave configuration. This without affecting the excellent performance for rise time and accuracy. The multi-channel power design of the IT-M3100 ensures that it is possible to control 16 units independently of each other with a single interface. Due to the modular design with side ventilation, these DC power supplies can be easily stacked.

CONSTANT POWER PRINCIPLE

The constant power principle allows the IT-M3100 to be used over a wide range while maintaining maximum power. At low voltages, you can have the full current range at your disposal. But high voltages are also possible at a reduced current range. This makes the unit widely applicable for various applications.
The IT-M3100 series power supplies are OVP, OCP, OPP and OTP protected.
Optional are the different interfaces such as RS232, RS485, CAN, LAN, USB_TMC and VCP. Most communication protocols are supported, including CANOPEN, SCPI and LXI.

BATTERY TESTING

For safe testing of batteries with the IT-M3100 it is possible to set limits for voltage, current, capacity and charging time. If these limits are exceeded the power supply stops its charging cycle. With the help of the software the voltage, charging time and capacity of the battery can be monitored.

The units are easy to program and have a LIST mode to program sequences with up to 100 different steps. With the TRACE FUNCTION the graphical display of the voltage and current can be followed in real time.

All this in a compact housing makes this power supply extremely suitable for space-saving installation in automatic test systems for multi-channel testing, but also perfect for use as a stackable table model on test benches.
