- The RIVM reports 2172 new positive corona tests on Friday. That is 60 more than Thursday. On average, the number of infections is decreasing.
- Supercomputer Snellius has been officially put into use in the Digital Realty data center at the Amsterdam Science Park, reports Computable. Snellius, built by Lenovo, has a peak performance of 14 petaflop/s, making it ten times faster than its predecessor.
- The construction of a large Microsoft data center in Middenmeer, North Holland, may continue, writes Tweakers. The North Sea Canal Area Environmental Service has issued a so-called 'tolerance decision' for the realization.
