LoRa® LEVEL MEASUREMENT WITH LOW-COST 19MM PRESSURE TRANSDUCER

AE Sensors has further expanded its successful, self-developed sensor line with LoRa® communication. This line now consists of nine different sensor types, which work completely stand-alone and can be read out wirelessly. The data can be sent via the national LoRa® network of KPN, but also locally via a “private gateway”, without any costs associated with data transmission.

Benefits of LoRa® technology
LoRa® technology offers important advantages, such as:

• Low energy consumption: With two AA batteries, the sensor can measure and transmit for 10 minutes each for more than a year. When using a D-cell battery, this can even be up to 10 years.
• Long range: Range up to 10-15 kilometers.

In addition, all sensors are equipped with Bluetooth (BLE) and can be easily read and configured via the specially developed AE Sensors App. Users can directly adjust settings such as transmission time, measurement frequency, units and calibration.

New: Low-cost 19mm pressure transducer
For applications such as groundwater level and pore pressure measurements, AE Sensors now introduces an affordable variant of the accurate and stable ATM.1ST/N 19mm. This new sensor is ideal for use in 1” (2.54 cm diameter) sounding pipes, even if they are slightly bent. Other possible applications include tide measurements and tank measurements.
