Low-carbon installation clamp combines sustainability with ease of installation
The choice of materials within building installations plays an increasingly important role in limiting CO₂ emissions and improving the Environmental Performance of Buildings (MPG).
With the DGBSC Low Carbon Series, Degson introduces an installation clamp manufactured from a combination of bio-circular and recycled plastics. This significantly reduces the CO₂ footprint compared to conventional installation clamps, without compromising reliability or performance.
The connector is suitable for a nominal voltage of 450 V and a nominal current of 32 A.
It features a maintenance-free push-in spring connector with a rotating operating lever. This allows both solid and flexible conductors with a connection cross-section of 0.2–6.0 mm² to be connected quickly and without tools. The transparent housing enables direct visual inspection of the conductor position, which improves the quality of the installation and reduces the risk of connection errors.
The DGBSC Low Carbon Series is available in 2-, 3-, and 5-pole versions and is suitable for applications in distribution cabinets, lighting installations, and building cabling with a nominal voltage of 450V and a nominal current of 32A.
