Minisymposium Substances:

Revision of REACH; a time of transitions for the Chemical industry

October 12 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Meeting location tb in The Hague, can also be followed online via TEAMS

The Substances Mini Symposium is organized twice a year by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management together with VNO-NCW, VNCI and WECF.

The transition to a sustainable chemicals policy will be discussed during the mini-symposium on October 12. The EU has drawn up the Sustainable Chemicals Strategy. An important part of this is the adjustment of the REACH regulations. In addition to this transition, the chemical industry must also comply with other transitions. How do they deal with adapting REACH and carrying out the transitions?

Various speakers will discuss the above topics. There will be presentations from the perspective of government, business and civil society about the efforts to review REACH, the road to the transition with regard to chemicals and other transitions (circular, climate and digitalization), and the necessity of these transitions for a safe and healthy living environment. .

The final program will be sent in advance.

If you wish, you can already register at Minisymposiumstoffen@minienw.nl. Please indicate whether you will participate physically or online.

The mini-symposium is open to everyone, but the meeting itself is closed; no reports, articles or other journalistic statements are permitted about the presentations and discussion during the mini-symposium.
