For engineering and consultancy firm TAUW, we realized a fully equipped measuring trailer for emission measurements. A mobile solution where safety, precision, and overview come together in one well-thought-out design.

Separate high and low pressure zones

An important and distinctive element of this installation is the physical separation between the high-pressure and fine-tuning sections.

The gas cylinders and high-pressure equipment are positioned at the rear of the trailer, separated from the measuring room by a fixed bulkhead. The fine adjustment and distribution are located inside the measuring room itself.

This structure offers several advantages:

  • Increased safety by physical separation of high-pressure components
  • Stable measurement conditions in the analysis room
  • Well-organized and safe working environment for the technicians

All gas lines have been carefully routed through the bulkhead and professionally finished. A sleek, leak-proof penetration construction was chosen for this purpose, which is both mechanically robust and low-maintenance.


Precise pressure regulation for reliable measurements

In the measurement room, the installation is constructed with high-quality pressure regulators and well-organized stainless steel piping. Each gas flow – including nitrogen, air, and calibration gases – is individually regulated and monitored.

The fine adjustment is designed so that:

  • Pressure stability and quality remain guaranteed
  • Gas flows are reproducible
  • Reading and operation are intuitive
  • Maintenance can be easily performed

Measurement accuracy is essential for emission measurements. A stable and controlled gas supply forms the basis for this.

Built for mobility

Because the measuring trailer is deployed at various locations, the entire installation is mounted to withstand vibrations and is mechanically robust. Component selection, mounting, and cable routing are tailored for mobile use without compromising laboratory quality.
