- University Of Birmingham, the Surgical Reconstruction and Microbiology Research Center department was looking for a solution to test for biomakers (microRNAs) in a sterile manner. Monmouth Scientific's response was to supply 3 Guardian®Class II Biological Safety Cabinets. These cabinets use a specially ventilated housing, developed for sterile material handling. The unit guarantees protection for both the operator and the work material against possible contamination with biological risks. The unit is equipped with H14 HEPA filters to create an ISO Class 4 clean environment, and the unit's air diffuser and angled inlet ensure efficient and smooth airflow. Inside the cabinet, a UV lighting strip ensures complete VHP & formalin sterilization.
- Glentham Life Sciences, supplier of chemicals, biochemicals and life science products for research, industrial and pharmaceutical customers was looking for an option to safely repackage chemical powders, liquids and substances. There were for this Ductaire® Ducted Fume Cabinet delivered. The folding windshield provides full access to the workspace and features a cable pass-through so equipment such as scales can be easily installed. The fume cupboard has a high chemical resistance and a fully welded polypropylene construction, with an integral collection tray. In addition, a custom work surface was created to allow large containers of liquids to fit easily into the cabinet, again ensuring that the customer's flexibility requirements were fully met.
- Public Health Wales protects the health and wellbeing of the public. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they looked for a solution to analyze thousands of swabs. The delivery of 10 Class II Bio Safety Cabinets was the solution. The units are equipped with H14 HEPA filters to create an ISO Class 4 clean environment, and the unit's air diffuser and angled inlet ensure efficient and smooth airflow. Inside the cabinet, the UV lighting strip provides complete VHP & formalin sterilization, keeping the interior of the biosafety cabinet clean when not in use and ensuring efficient and complete disinfection.
