The demand for high-quality lighting with a true-to-nature light spectrum is increasing in offices, retail, museums, and healthcare environments, among others. While conventional LEDs often exhibit a pronounced blue peak in the spectrum, Seoul Semiconductor’s SunLike full-spectrum LEDs approximate the natural daylight spectrum. This results in very high color rendering (CRI ≥97) and makes the LEDs suitable for human-centric lighting applications.
SunLike technology is available in various compact SMD packages and as MJT COB (Chip-on-Board) modules from 6 W to 40 W. The COB series combines an efficient thermal construction with a nominal forward voltage of approximately 35 V (Tj = 85 °C) and is suitable for applications such as spotlights, downlights, and other high-output luminaires.
The portfolio ranges from the compact SAWS0661A (13.5 × 13.5 mm, LES 6.0 mm, 611 lm) to the powerful SAWS226AA (28 × 28 mm, LES 22.0 mm, 4068 lm at 4000 K). This ensures that a suitable SunLike solution is available for a wide range of luminaire designs, from compact accent lighting to powerful architectural lighting.
