There are a plethora of methods and techniques that can be used for elemental analysis. Choosing the most appropriate technique that fits the specific analytical requirements is a difficult task. During the fair we organize a half-day training in which we delve deeper into choices that lead to optimal results.
This includes sample preparation, such as microwave destruction, reprocessing techniques, chemicals and the avoidance/prevention of matrix influences. Then comes the choice of which analysis techniques (AAS, ICP-OES/MS, XRF, SEM-EDX) should be used. During the mini-training, the advantages and disadvantages of these different techniques are highlighted.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and present your own case to the experts. Do you have a case that you would like to discuss during this training? Send this to laboratorytechnologie@fhi.nl so that the trainers can review and prepare it. The complete training program can be found on the website.
This project is a collaboration of Beun de Ronde, JEOL and Perkin Elmer.
