The design for the trade fair gadget is almost ready
The PCB design for the E&A trade show gadget is almost ready. The designers of Ideatron, the inventors of the gadget, are currently putting the finishing touches and then the first prototype will roll off the production line.
The gadget is an attractively designed coaster that activates LED lights via a sensor after a detected movement. This makes the lights come on automatically when you put a cup on it, for example. A fun and practical concept that will certainly appeal to E&A visitors!
Visitors to the fair can see with their own eyes how the gadget is produced on the production square. Here a 'Live Production Line' is set up with machines from exhibitor Europe SMT / KVMS where no less than 750 coasters are assembled on site, half of the total number of gadgets. Experience shows that this attracts many visitors.
The remaining 750 coasters are fitted by A1 Electronics. The Bill of Materials is now a fact and the first functional prototype is ready. Companies interested in contributing to the project can contact us with project manager Melvin Brink.
