Opening of temporary subsidy scheme NL continues to learn

As of October 1st, employees will be able to use the subsidy scheme NL leert door. With this scheme, employees can register for a development advice trajectory with the help of a career advisor. This can result in a possible reorientation on the labor market.

Employees, including flex workers, self-employed entrepreneurs and non-employed persons, will receive personal career advice after completing this process. As an employer, it may be interesting to point out this scheme to your employees, especially in times of corona, which may have resulted in surplus staff or the company having to make certain choices for the future.

Applicants can start providing development advice trajectories as early as August 1st. They can then submit a subsidy application from October 1st. Read more about this here regulation.

Update December 2020 
The Cabinet has decided to allocate 200 million euros in 2021 to NL leert door, in order to stimulate retraining and development of workers. From 1 December 2020, everyone between the ages of 18 and 65 can request development advice from a career advisor. A total of 50,000 advice trajectories are available.
