PCI Express 4-Port Multi-Interface Synchronous Serial Interface

The 5402ec (FACB-MP+4.PCIe) is a four-port PCIe serial interface supporting RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, EIA-530, EIA-530A, and V.35 synchronous communications. Each port can be independently configured and includes a digital phase-locked loop (DPLL). The board supports sustained data rates up to 1.2288 Mbps and common RS-232 modem control signals.

Featuring a PCIe 1.1 interface, the 5402ec operates in x1, x4, x8, or x16 slots. SeaMAC driver support includes HDLC/SDLC, asynchronous, and selected Monosync, Bisync, and Raw modes. A fan-out cable connects the 100-pin connector to four DB-25M connectors.
