QMC (VITA 93) defines a standardized mezzanine architecture for compact, modular embedded systems. Elma's QMC Chassis Manager offers a generic management layer for various QMC-based platforms.
The solution supports VITA 93, IPMI 2.0, and VITA 46.11 Tier 3 and aligns with SOSA guidelines for open architectures. Functionalities such as health monitoring, voltage monitoring, thermal management, firmware upgrades, and system management via standard IPMI mechanisms are integrated. This allows the chassis manager to be easily deployed in both development platforms and operational systems.
In addition to the chassis manager, a VITA 90.3 compliant PSU solution is available. This makes power supply and platform management available as standardized building blocks within the VNX+ ecosystem, allowing developers to focus on implementing application-specific processor and I/O functionality.
In addition, a test chassis is available for evaluation and software development, allowing management functionality and system integration to be validated at an early stage.
