The Circulair® 650FDS is a compact freestanding workstation designed to work with chemicals efficiently and safely. Particularly formalin in operating rooms and pathology laboratories. The 650FDS is derived from a laboratory fume hood, ensuring the user the best protection against chemical exposure.

Circulaire® 650FDS
Compact dosing station of less than 0.4 m2, a convenient solution for working with chemicals. In this cabinet, your chemical container (up to 25 liters) is placed on the bottom shelf and connected to the pump mechanism. With a simple push of a button or use of the optional foot switch, the formalin is transferred via the tap to another
container pumped.
The 650FDS is equipped with several useful features, such as a large working opening, low noise level, integrated low airflow alarm, unique carbon filter sealing mechanism and a cable entry port. The lockable door with smoked glass ensures that the chemical container can be temporarily stored safely and discreetly, while ventilation to the work area prevents the spread of toxic fumes.
The folding acrylic window provides easy access to the work area, while the ceiling lighting provides a well-lit and comfortable working environment. The air flow monitor system continuously monitors the air flow in the cabinet and alerts the user with audible and visual alarms if it falls below optimal levels. The optional filter condition sensor helps in timely replacement of carbon filters, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the cabinet.

Airflow monitor system
The airflow within the cabinet is continuously monitored and the user is alerted by audible and visual alarms if the airflow falls below optimal levels. An optional sensor monitors the filter and indicates when the carbon filter needs to be replaced.

High quality carbon filters
The Circulaire® 650FDS is fitted with high performance carbon filters to meet BS7989:2001 and COSHH regulations. The main filter contains 14 kg of activated carbon which is specially designed to effectively remove formalin fumes away from the user. Clean air is sucked in by the fan through the opening at the front of the cabinet at a speed of 0.5 m/s, before passing through the particle pre-filter and the carbon filter in the
main part goes. The filtered air is then blown back into the room through the top of the cabinet.

Environmentally friendly
Monmouth Scientific's Circulair® 650FDS has impressive 'green' credentials. With only 80 watts of power during normal use, this cabinet uses up to 8 times less power than comparable models. In addition, the unit offers one of the most attractive sound levels available, at approximately 52 dB(A).
