Da Vinci Laboratory Solutions introduces the new Secondary, which doubles the analytical capabilities of the Agilent 8890 GC. With this solution, laboratories can perform multiple GC analyses simultaneously, without the need to invest in an additional GC system and associated software license.

Fully integrated secondary GC oven

The Secondary Oven is fully integrated into the workflow of the Agilent 8890 GC and is controlled directly from the GC system. The temperature of the Secondary Oven can be programmed completely independently, allowing the primary GC oven and the secondary oven to execute two different temperature programs simultaneously.

The analysis results of both the primary GC and the Secondary Oven are automatically merged into a single data file. This simplifies reporting and makes data processing more efficient.

Versatile configuration options

The Secondary Oven is a fully-fledged GC oven with versatile configuration options. The system can be connected to the Agilent 8890 GC via a transfer line, but can also be equipped with its own injector and/or detector. In that case, no additional transfer lines are required.
