By applying Planar technology, Deutronic has succeeded in creating a very high power density with the latest generation of galvanically isolated DC/DC converters. The flat design with dimensions of 200x180x24.2mm makes it possible to easily integrate the converter into an application. In addition to the 150W and 450W versions, two new heavier types have been released to ensure a stable DC on-board network in electric vehicles. The DVC853 has a nominal power of 1100W but can deliver a power boost of 2200W for 4 seconds, while the 1920W specified DVC1903 briefly offers even 3840W. Both converters are equipped with a CAN interface according to the J1939 standard. This sets and reads parameters such as the output current, output voltage and temperature. The DVC series from Deutronic is resistant to shock, vibration, rapid temperature changes, moisture and aggressive atmosphere. That is why they are ideally suited to provide a stable on-board network for data terminals, lighting and on-board computers on forklift trucks and self-driving transport systems. There are special versions to absorb voltage dips when the engine starts.
