10.00 – 11.00 am

How can you take small steps towards sustainability starting today? In this interactive workshop, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and Genmab, together with students, share their practical experiences with circular solutions. Students demonstrate how they contribute to concrete projects, such as the application of alternative (bio)materials, more sustainable pipette tips, smarter purchasing choices, and the development and use of simple sustainability tools. This also reveals how sustainability is finding a place in education and how future professionals are being involved in this process.

Additionally, during the workshop, you will work in small groups on recognizable practical examples, and we will exchange ideas and experiences. What can you do differently tomorrow, and what works in practice and what doesn't? This generates concrete insights and inspiration that you can immediately take back to your own lab.

This session is specifically for everyone working in a laboratory environment who wants to start or has just started the process of becoming more sustainable and is looking for feasible, smart first steps.
