Job description
For our branch in Eck en Wiel, we are looking for a service engineer/field service representative. As a Service Engineer LED Screens at KITT Engineering, you will be responsible, as part of a team, for installing, maintaining, and inspecting LED screens throughout the country.
You play an important role in the functioning of displays seen by thousands of people every day. You will be provided with a well-equipped company vehicle and all the tools you need to work on location, either independently or as part of a team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to further develop your technical skills and receive in-house training to learn the specific tricks of the trade.
Your tasks include:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing LED screens at various locations in the Netherlands.
- Inspecting and checking the operation of systems and quickly resolving malfunctions.
- Perform periodic maintenance to ensure the reliability and lifespan of the LED screens.
- Work closely with the project team and report on the progress of the work.
- Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with applicable safety regulations (VCA and NEN 3140).
Job requirements
We are looking for a technically skilled and flexible Service Engineer who is not afraid to work at heights and who works in a customer-oriented and solution-oriented manner.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A completed MBO education in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent level through work experience).
- NEN 3140 qualified (or willing to obtain this certificate).
- VCA (Safety, Health and Environment Checklist for Contractors) diploma (or willingness to obtain this certificate).
- In possession of a B driving licence (Ev. + E).
- Affinity with technology and installation; experience with LED technology is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Solution-oriented, eager to learn, and stress-resistant.
- No fear of heights, given the nature of the work at height.
