Your data center is excellently secured, but do you know exactly who can open an individual server rack, and can you prove this retrospectively?

Data centers invest heavily in both digital and physical security. Yet, the physical security chain sometimes ends at the door of the technical room. Once inside, anyone can potentially open multiple server racks as well.

During this practical knowledge session, we examine physical access security from the perspective of risk, human behavior, and current regulations such as NIS2 and the Cybersecurity Act. Using a recognizable real-life situation, you will discover the difference between access to a room and access to a specific rack.

You will be provided with five concrete control questions that allow you to assess your own environment regarding access, identity, authorization, registration, and monitoring.

Not a product presentation, but a practical risk analysis that allows you to immediately discover where your own physical security chain ends.
