Smart pipetting: posture & technique

Pipetting seems simple, until you realize it requires more than you thought. Wrong posture, wrong technique, or the wrong pipette… and before you know it, you are stuck with inaccurate results or strain.

In this workshop, the focus is on the basics: how to keep pipetting correct and comfortable, even on long days. Participants will get hands-on with:

• correct sitting posture and working height
• neutral wrist position during pipetting
• difference between single- and multi-channel pipettes
• handling viscous or volatile liquids
• correct transfer of the fluid
• which pipette matches which volume

Through short video recordings, one's own posture becomes visible, and we compare before and after. The workshop is practical, relatable, and immediately applicable in the lab.
